OUR STORY

OVER THE HILS AND FAR AWAY
Many people ask why Chateau Musar’s winery is more than a two and a half hour drive from the vineyards in the Bekaa Valley. When Gaston Hochar began making wine in 1930, the boundaries of Lebanon had not been set, and he wanted to ensure that his premises would be inside the newly demarcated country.

In celebration of International Cabernet Sauvignon Day, we're focusing on our Cha#MusarMusar Red 2019 vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon is blended in equal parts with Cinsault and Carignan, and #vintagentage has aromas of blueberry, cranberry and blackcurrant with black olives and a touch of cloves. These aromas follow through to the palate with added cherries, plum and spice. There is also a note of black pepper and it finishes with a good level of acidity and fine integrated tannins.Read the #tastingsting notes here: chateaumusar.com/wines/chateau-musar-red/ ...
