Explore MUSAR WINES
We are thrilled to present the highly anticipated Chateau Musar new releases, showcasing the incredible diversity and historic terroir of Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. This exceptional lineup features two distinct expressions of our winemaking philosophy: the elegant, structured Hochar Père et Fils 2018 and the vibrant, fruit-forward Musar Jeune Red 2019. Both vintages offer wine enthusiasts an unforgettable journey through Mediterranean viticulture.
The first highlight among these Chateau Musar new releases is the Hochar Père et Fils 2018. Crafted from a meticulous blend of Cinsault, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, this vintage spent nine months in French oak barrels. On the nose, it opens with rich aromas of dark cherries, plums, and subtle leather notes. The palate delivers soft, integrated tannins alongside complex flavors of warming spices, figs, and a long, savory finish.
In contrast, the Musar Jeune Red 2019 represents a more youthful and approachable style. This un-oaked blend features Cinsault, Syrah, and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in organic vineyards. It displays a deep ruby color and bursts with fresh aromas of blueberries, wild strawberries, and black pepper. Because it is bottled unfiltered, it retains its natural acidity and juicy fruit purity, making it incredibly easy to enjoy young.
To fully appreciate these remarkable bottles, we recommend serving them at a cool room temperature around 16–18°C (60–64°F). These versatile wines pair beautifully with classic Mediterranean cuisine. Consider enjoying them with:
